Dr. Bernard Plano is a very experimented manager while very aware of the most advanced digital technologies applied to space program.
After being graduated as Electrical engineer he obtained a Master HEC Business Administration (MBA)

He then joined in the late 80s the MATRA/EADS company (to be merged later with Airbus) and became an experienced specialist in data processing systems for military applications.

Owing to his personal achievement as very successful team leader he was nominated Chairman and CEO Matra Systèmes et Information (MSI) and from 1996 till 2004 and was participating to the Matra management board. After a while he was given a high management position at newly created EADS company as Executive Vice President for International Business Development for systems & defence electronics EADS till 2001

In 2004, Bernard created the Plano BP Consulting firm specialising in business and international projects; Chairman and international consultant, he is also senior executive vice president in charge of strategy and international development Spacebel Group (one of the information processing leaders in space in Europe) and President of SAS Spacebel

Bernard Plano has spent his entire career in the aerospace, space and defense in the Matra / Lagardère group where he led numerous subsidiaries, divisions and committees.

For over 25 years he was involved at the head of space programs for the Ariane rocket at the launch pad in Kourou, and the satellites systems such as SPOT, Hipparcos, Helios ...

He is a widely highly appreciated high level manager aware of relations and international negotiations as well as team efficient leader. Bernard Plano led international operations of EADS S & DE Division from 2000 onward (including the development of space infrastructure for China) and has acquired a deep knowledge of fifty countries whether in the economic or social aspects.

This is undoubtedly due to the energy he devoted to his many activities that Bernard Plano must be a knight of the French Legion of Honour.

Bernard Plano as present industrial team manager for Blue planet has been of paramouth help in the reinforcement of the Blue Planet team in 2012. His experience of international industrial montage has allowed the industrial environment of Blue Planet to take off and produce a very reliable network of competent providers.
He plays an important role in Blue Planet evolution by being in charge of monitoring the team management and help getting a safe financial evolution of the company.
